Part 2: Logic Pro X Setup

    Open Logic Pro X

    Open Logic Pro X on your device. To download Logic Pro X, click here.

    Open MIDI Preferences

    Logic Pro X > Preferences > MIDI...

    Go to 'Inputs'

    In the MIDI Preferences, go to 'Inputs'

    Un-check 'IAC Driver Bus'

    Un-check 'IAC Driver Bus' (To prevent an infinite loop)

    Create an External MIDI Track

    Go to Track > New External MIDI Track (⌥⌘X)

    Open the Inspector (I)

    In the top left corner, click (I) to open the inspector.

    Set Port to 'IAC Driver Bus'

    Pick an instrument, and set the Port: 'IAC Driver Bus'

    Instrument Bible > Preferences (⌘,)

    Change MIDI Input

    Set the MIDI Input = 'IAC Driver Bus'
